The message:
Dear friend,
I received your email. Happy New Year to you, and your family. May the Lord be with you in this new year and may all your projects succeed.
My name is Mr. Robert Karakama. I am an executive office holder and currently serve as a Regional Cashier (IFC). I am writing to follow up on my earlier communication regarding a potential investment partnership involving USD $10,500,000. This opportunity requires a reliable partner to stand as the beneficiary.
I also served as a personal assistant to the late Mr. Michael, who worked with an oil firm and was also a businessman. He sadly passed away in a tragic train accident in Turkey in 2018, during a business trip, at the age of 61. Before his passing, he deposited USD $10.5 million in a vault account.
I am reaching out to you because, as someone who shares his last name, you are eligible to claim this unclaimed fund as an inheritance. The deposit is now overdue for release, and the bank is waiting for a beneficiary to come forward.
The legal documentation will be prepared by a reputable legal firm, including the necessary agreements for the German (European) authorities, along with written confirmation from me—verified by a lawyer or notary—stating that:
a) The funds are not derived from any criminal source.
b) The transaction will not violate the European Money Laundering Act and is intended solely for investment purposes.
To ensure the funds are certified in your name, the legal process will be carried out professionally, with the assistance of the bank manager. Everything will proceed legally and smoothly. What is most essential now is trust, transparency, and cooperation between us.
Once the funds are transferred into your account, we will set aside USD $1.5 million to be shared between us. The remaining USD $9 million will be used for the agreed investments in healthcare and energy, stated.
Since you have your own lawyer he can get involved, I recommend that he serve as the company lawyer for this project. He will also benefit from the annual profits generated by the investment.
I look forward to your confirmation so we can proceed with the necessary steps.
Best regards,
Mr. Robert Karakama
