Ali Hincusi job offer scam.
Scam/Fraud Info:
I previously applied for a security job posting online. I filled out the application form which was an AI generated application from grabjobs website. After a week I received an email stating that they have seen the CV. The initial email was dodgy at first as the proposal of the hourly rate was extremely high for the job, and the way it was articulated was off. He wanted me to sign up for training next week at Birmingham airport but wanted me to send money to the account for the certifications. He then sent the bank details Account: Bogdan Bodolica Sort code: 04-29-09 Account: 4005 9332 Prior to this he asked for my passport, driver registration bank statement national insurance number and he proof of address where I stupidly sent a bank letter which had the first 4 digits of my card number. I researched into the company which was RECRUITMENT JOBS (MIDLANDS) LTD Company number 09477234 After seeing the main office being a residential area I had realised that this was most likely a scam. I then pushed the agenda and reasonings before I sent any money over for the training which was time restricted in the sense he wanted it to be sent ASAP. The initial job offering also had a timing of when these details should be sent which should have been the first red flag. They then stated that 1st Solutions Recruitment had bought the company and will operate under that name by 20/01/24 . He kept looming the proposition that I was acting childish after stating that the new company also has filled for bankruptcy which does not make sense. The credibility of the company for a company that states that he employs over 100 people a month was very shady the fact that he states that they have contacts for various UK airport jobs. I am worried in regards to my details that I have sent over and would like further clarity. After this I blocked his email and reported it as a phishing scam.
