Crazy scam. This scammer is still emailing me and won’t leave me alone. Goes by the name of Jihyo Ha.
Scam/Fraud Info:This is a widespread scam. This scammer did the same thing to me and maintained a relationship for months by emailing me constantly. This scammer told me they would mail me a check for the rent and did. It was a Citi Bank check. Although it was connected to a real account and my bank initially accepted it; they did not allow it to process. Unfortunately; because they initially accepted it, I thought the money was in my account. Suddenly, Jihyo Ha began texting me nonstop telling to Zelle the money and I did. Only the next few days did I find out it was a fraudulent check and I had sent the scammer my own money. I was caught in their scam and lost multiple thousands of dollars.
