La can, if you didnt know, were a housing justice organization partnering California Black Power Network to improve the lives of Californians. Today were just giving very quick, two minute phone calls regarding some propositions and measures that will be on the ballot this coming November. LA can is urging for a yes on prop five, if youre on. Wonderful. Are you familiar with prop five? Would you like some information on prop five? Wonderful. Well, if youre unfamiliar, prop five is our chance to fight for affordable housing. If prop five passes with a yes vote, it would allow affordable housing bonds to be approved with a 55% vote instead of the current two three requirement. This ensures that a majority of us, not just a few, get to decide on the future of housing in our communities. That being said, can we count on you to vote yes on top five?
